I'm sorry you weren't in my class. I didn't know everything and made everything a challenge to find their own answers which promoted long term memory skills and self-confidence in themselves.

I was objective in my grading and looked at each individual's progress in reaching goals for themselves. I am not prejudiced and my students would tell you that also! I loved every student I ever taught/mentored.

I usually got home around 9:00 p.m. M-F, tutored, counseled, sponsored clubs, sports assistance, meetings, workshops, figuring out how each day I could reach each student from what we had accomplished or not from that day-changed many plans and threw out what wasn't working, any questions!

I was a counselor, friend, mother, mentor, cheerleader, and a learner.

I'm not egotistical-ask my students and they will tell you. We do exist and our students come first and we do want them to be life time learners and successful in whatever they choose to do.

I loved and respected my students. I earned their respect and didn't believe it came because I was a teacher.
